Also known as RGP lenses, these are made from special material that allows oxygen to pass through them and reach the surface of the eyes. This helps to keep the eyes hydrated and comfortable, making these lenses easier to wear, especially for patients who suffer from dry eyes. Dry eyes aren’t just a symptom, but a very real condition, characterized by dry, stiff and uncomfortable eyes, blurred vision and eye fatigue. RGP lenses are more rigid than soft lenses, and this helps to keep them stable and secure on the eyes so that patients can enjoy sharper vision. They also help the cornea to maintain their shape, which helps to minimize the effects of some corneal abnormalities.
I had the best experience yesterday at Vision Quest in Midland. It was my first visit and I have to admit, I was dreading it. I was welcomed by Donna and she is so friendly and such a great person to greet you. The pre exam was great with Gabe and Doctor Ruggles was so calming, friendly and Down to earth. I also had a great time picking out glasses with Gabe, he is so talented. Would recommend this place over and over again. I will never go anywhere else. What a wonderful experience
The doctor is caring and friendly. The support staff care about their patients seeing well and looking good as well. Forget the chains and deal with a local place!
I had a great experience there! staff was very friendly & helpful!
Dr. Ruggles and his staff are always friendly, and they go above and beyond to help with my family's vision needs.
